Dlib Face Detect

The dlib_face_detect image processing integrationIntegrations connect and integrate KS Assistant with your devices, services, and more. [Learn more] allows you to use the Dlib through KS Assistant. This platform enables face detection from cameras, and can fire events with attributes.

This can be used to trigger an automation rule. Further info is on the integration page.

Note

This integration is only available on KS Assistant Core installation types. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with KS Assistant OS, Supervised or Container.

Configuration

To enable Dlib Face Detect, add the following lines to your configuration.yamlThe configuration.yaml file is the main configuration file for KS Assistant. It lists the integrations to be loaded and their specific configurations. In some cases, the configuration needs to be edited manually directly in the configuration.yaml file. entity_id string Required

A camera entity id to get picture from.

name string (Optional)

This parameter allows you to override the name of your image_processing entity.
